Plus being good at a game is a skill, not a talent like everyone tend to perceive, so you can still slowly learn bits of game mechanics at a time to get better at it.

This is Pewd's best video by a long shot. It's so well done, well edited and put together, and an amazing accomplishment for someone who isn't known for playing these games exclusively. I come back to watch this every month it seems, I just love the regular commentary from Pewds, he's actually really good at commentating game play and explaining mechanics. I know he just announced that he's taking a break from KZhead, but I really hope he continues to do this style of video.

So refreshing to see content like this come from Pewds, feels like it's been years. PewDiePie was pretty much done with video games and was semi-retired but Elden Ring caused him to make one of the biggest videos he's made in a long time. Out of all games there are as of recent, Elden Ring rekindled Pewds love for gaming content creation and he took a week making this one video. Just shows how good of a game it is. At the end during his last run the way he was extremely locked in, I can relate it so much. I remember my battle with Morgott, I was literally tired of dying a lot, and then all of a sudden I just became berserk and just killed him without making more mistakes. I was dominating him so much. 23:40 “I wonder why people always kill him but apparently he steals your runes” Know how when you die your runes are dropped and you can pick them back up? Gustoc takes a percentage of those dropped runes every time you die within the castle before killing godrick so when you pick them back up that percentage is missing. When you take the secret passage he’s also the one who locks you in the room with the knight guy and as a cool Easter egg you can actually see him tailing you from the shadows when exploring certain areas of the castle. He is important for a certain optional quest line but if you’ve already done it or don’t care it’s really better to just kill him. If you kill him and then take the secret passage you won’t get locked in with the knight

@@KillettRyan Theres an item that you get at the start of the game which lets you return to the last visited site of grace, but you lose all your runes, so he prolly used that but we know he didnt die to morgott because we would see his runes in the arena

I love how elden ring has pushed so many content creators to make this more in depth descriptive type of content, this might be one of my favourite pewds vid ever and i’ve never been a huge fan of the soles games. Absolute adored this!

The amount of dedication is respectable. Elden Ring has truly reignited what I missed about video games and the passion the developers have put into it is admirable.
Even now watching this a year or so after it came out I’m still infinitely impressed, I just got into the souls games myself and this is just super impressive

Nah dont even stress about the "cheese" strats. Especially the sleep arrows, it is an item included in the game, working exactly as intented. (at least it seems like there is no bug or w/e) This was an insane run and the video was very enjoyable and easy to watch, even tho it was 50 min. Absolutely well played, thanks for the journey.
