  • My baby was just born yesterday and I can't explain how much I relate to this video. The feeling of being a first time father. The feeling of holding your kid for the first time. The feeling of ecstasy when you see them the first time. Just everything about it. My experience has shown that being a father is the hardest thing in life bc we don't want to fail our children.

    • April 2023 I was supposed to hold my first child for the first time. Didn't happen. Miscarriage. I got dumped less than a month later. 5 year relation down the drain, sure there were some stresses and strain on us before the pregnancy, but they felt more or less basically gone once we had a child on the way. Then we lost it and everything just snapped back to terrible. Then it was ALL gone. In a matter of a month. That was well over a year ago, now. It is hard for me to feel excitement, joy or happiness for anyone else I see having children. It's hard to not feel bitterness, frustration and contempt towards them. Like legitimately feel almost hatred. But I try. I'm not some evil, mean spirited, heartless POS. It's just happened to me twice in 10 years and apparently children just aren't in the cards for me according to fate. I just can't understand why. I still have my kitty cats, my little fur baby sons and they love me. One day at a time, and congratulations sir.

    • ​​@@virtusetglorieI'm really sorry for your losses lovely 🥺I'm expecting mine any day now and it hasn't been easy at all, I watch such videos to feed on positivity of father's being excited to be fathers and being good partners because mine just hasn't cared at all during the whole process & I can't cry anymore, I'm over being sad, I've come this far alone and I feel we'll be okay henceforth without him. I know it's hard to hear but sometimes we want things we shouldn't. Don't waste your energy by resenting your life and how it's been, I remember how many times I cried for a termination because he was just awful to me and looking back I wish I gave him way less significance and focused on moving on early. See such content as encouragement, sometimes we're being protected from detrimental experiences when some things happen and things end with certain people. You deserve happiness and bitterness and anger can be justified when you had hopes & dreams esp for family but the future demands a healed version of you, like the Chinese say "旧的不去，新的不来-if old things don't go out, new ones won't come in". Feel your feelings, they're very valid then give them a deadline and move on, you'll be okay I promise ❤

    • @@tired783it’s really actually not that common anymore to be able to spend years with someone you love and then get married and have a child without there being some controversy and problems that would result in a failed relationship let alone a two parent family. Your comment is the perfect example why this is not everyone’s life or majority of the planet. Shut up. Happiness makes you sour. What you are witnessing is a large group of people who have been able to witness the life of someone bloom and become something. People who stick with you through the years. That’s why people are so happy for him. The miracle of life makes people happy. But for some reason not you. It’s his channel, this is his career, his job. If you stay at a job long enough you will be celebrated as well. Not everyone gets the chance to be celebrated for their accomplishments and more so will have negative and sour opinions like yours who take try to take joy away from things. This is one the purposes of life is to enjoy it together and help each other grow. Not always nitpick every little thing that happens and then try to make other people feel less than.
